Walking on Sunshine

I guess it was ever like this, I just didn't always notice.
I'm almost always aware now, of the ever changing cascade of pleasures and sensations.
The warm glow of friendship and socializing.
Exercising our bodies.
The sights of the changing seasons.
The feel of my cotton shirt against my skin. Bird song. The sun or rain on my face. Aromas of cooking. Tastes, coffee, orange, vanilla, exotic spices and subtle herbs.
Sensations wash over us constantly.
Sometimes it's so overwhelming, I think it would be so hard to die on such a day as this.

I screw up sometimes.
I don't worry enough, take enough care of business.

It's just that it seems worthwhile,
to feel so full of life

Maybe you are autistic.

I jest; actually I was feeling a trifle down (which never happens so that was weird) but feel much more spritely having read that. So, thanks.

I've just had a dream in which Tickers was cruising in a big-ass silver 1959 Cadillac Eldorado. The year they had those massive fins.

I think it's natural and great to celebrate life after something like your car accident that reminds you of your mortality. Love the pics! Fun!

Phlegm- Good you can now feel the shining self congratulations for being the primary commenter.

Xtasy- No hidden meaning. I just love life.

Barbara- You see, feel good spreads feel good.

MJ- I don't think of this as poetry. Unless poetry is simply joining a lot of evocative words together.
Unlike yours it doesn't ryhm either.

Fewclewz- Never mind bah humbug you're a happy soul, you just refuse to recognise it. The kitchen's finished but nothing has been put back yet. Oh and I've got to buy a new freezer as the old one no longer fits.

Frobi- I'm seeing the world through rose tinted medication perhaps?

MJ- I've been invading everyones dreams recently. Pissoff was the first.

Snooze- Thanks for the sentiment. I've been feeling like this for many years now.

Xtasy- Looks like you're in the queue behind Pissoff and MJ now.

Convict- This may be why I've not been sleeping too well recently, I've been doing to much in my dreams.

Jungle Jane- No ones watching me dribble in Homeresque style! That's what Big Brother is for.

Loved the stickham photo display. I swear, it looks like you're rolling a joint in one of those photos. Perhaps that's why you're love'n life.

L- I know.

Shifty- Thank you.

Qenny- I sometimes think people miss out on how good every miniut of life is, I'm just trying to pass on the feelings I have. Maybe the pleasure is just a chemical thing overwhich we have no control. If that's the case, I feel so glad I'm subject to that influence.

Shandi- It's just occured to me how good a job you would make of photographing the local countryside here. Not a 'j' just hand rolling tobacco. I've quit smoking now.

Piggy- You're reaching that phase of your life now.

CP- Welcome to the tickosphere. I was left wondering about my post after reading yours. Although I said 'it would be hard to die'. I would find it easy to 'eat my gun' had I one. it's neither brave or cowardice in my case, more a feeling that I could die happy. If that makes any sence.

MJ- I don't have a tutu, and if I did I wouldn't be telling you about it.

Fewclewz- Molesworth! Happy memories.

Erin- I like the sound of that. I have no idea what it means but I like the sound of it anyway.

In his lifetime, Elvis purchased about a hundred Cadillacs. His favourite was a 1955 pink and white Cadillac Fleetwood. Not the same as the pic you posted. But your pic brings to mind Elvis and pink caddies for me.
