Remembering a Pivotal Moment.

On the outside, nothing changed. Business as usual.
Inside, something worn and damaged but which I believed was basically good, died.
It festered for a while then turned to dust. Inert dust.
On the outside nothing changed.
But the inside was unrecognisable.

We’ve probably all had moments like this.

Yes. About 11 years ago. Remember the day quite clearly. Never been the same since. Very well written, Hunky Tick.

I'm sure we can all relate to that feeling. But you brought back sad memories for me. Now I'm off to cry.

They're doing wonderful things with stem cells, these days...

Everybody loves you, Tickers. One of these days the right kind of rain is going to fall, and the inert dust will turn out to be the seeds of something bigger and better, and that inner landscape will be looking like a tropical rainforest.

...Erm... yes. Moments like that. Lots of them. Happens when I drink too much goon, usually to my liver or brain.

Well at present there are a number of parts of me that I wish would hurry up and die ( fat cells amongst them!) but they are taking their own sweet time about it!

Awaiting- Keep taking the medication.

~d- Wouldn't go near 'em.

Kyahgirl- That's life.

Suzanne44- Good rain is already falling.

TGF- Microwaves are the instuments of the Devil.

Loz- Quite.

Fuckkit- Good is the Devils serum. He makes it in microwave ovens.

Lippy- Have you tried smoking or a speed habit?

personally I love the 'inert dust' stage. most things that reach that point deserve it.

i'll assume you are talking about the pissing poodle.

inert dust is too mild a fate there.

I can kind of relate, except the outside went to pot ages ago.

Do you need a hoover for the psyche? IDV probably has one of those...

First Nations- Inert dust is natures healing or conclusion. I'm with you on that one.

Muckstress- If there is such a thing as a hoover for the psyche, IDV has only been using the dust pan and brush.

Jungle Jane- I would only visit Glastonebury if the other goers were naked attractive women, eager to wrestle.
It's been a tad moist here as well.
