JahEly (The Streets)
Sounds pretty good to me. I've certainly heard a lot worse on Radio One recently.
Ely is a council estate in West Cardiff.

I await YouTube coverage of a Tickers karaoke night.
Santa brought me an hour's studio time so maybe I'll post the results.
Why the fake island accent? he doesn't need it. he can rhyme and he has the concept down. I like it! I hear a lot of good street coming from Vancouver these days and this ranks up with the best.
so now that you're back you're going to be a blogging dynamo is that it? you demand a lot from your public, sir.
I agree. He doesn't need it and if he wanted to stand out he could do a lot worse that use a Cardiff accent. An accent which most Brits are unexposed to.

Golly gosh, I'm an old duffer, I put this entry into the previous post! DOH!
Anyway, I said that there was something a little disturbing about a Taffy putting on a Caribbean/Bronx accent.
The last person to have a hit with a Cardiff accent was Windsor Davies.

Whoever he might be???
His rhyme is great. I echo the other comments about the fake accent, but still, he was good.
